The Compensation, Benefits, and Timekeeping (CBT) Manager leads the strategic design, operational compliance, and administration of employee total rewards, benefits programs, and time-and-attendance systems across multiple entities.
This role manages compensation and benefits structures, relevant compensation studies, timekeeping data, leave records, allowances, and statutory benefits, and is responsible for auditing the payroll instructions. The CBT Manager will also play a pivotal role in harmonizing compensation structures, benefit plans, and HR systems during the enterprise integration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Timekeeping & Pre-Payroll Support
- Time and Attendance Management: Oversee the end-to-end timekeeping system for all employee types and schedule shifts.
- Leave & Attendance Audit: Audit and validate daily time records, overtime, night differentials, holiday pay, leaves (statutory and company-provided), and deductions.
- Payroll Instructions & Turn-over: Consolidate, validate, and deliver sign-off-ready Payroll Instructions and variance reports to the Payroll team within strict cutoff deadlines.
- Dispute Resolution: Act as an escalation point for attendance, timekeeping, and deduction reconciliations.
2. Benefits Administration & Statutory Compliance
- Mandatory Government Benefits: Ensure strict compliance, accurate reporting, and timely coordination of statutory programs (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and EC).
- Company Perks & HMO: Manage vendor relationships and program administration for Group Medical (HMO), Group Life Insurance, de minimis benefits, and other perks.
- Annual Benefits Review: Monitor vendor service level agreements (SLAs), claims utilization, and market rates to recommend annual plan renewals and enhancements.
3. Compensation Management & Integration Support
- Salary Benchmarking & Grading: Maintain and update salary structures, pay grades, and job leveling to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness in the IT-BPM sector.
- Merit & Annual Increase Cycles: Manage annual compensation reviews, performance-based salary adjustments, and promotion matrices.
- C&B Harmonization: Assist leadership in aligning job bands, compensation policies, and benefit programs during organizational scaling and company integration.
4. Policy Governance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate data, compensation records, and audit trails for BIR, DOLE, and internal financial audits.
- Generate regular analytics on labor costs, overtime trends, leave liability, and absenteeism to support management decisions.

We're looking for individuals with:
- Experience: 5–8 years of overall HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity specializing in C&B and Timekeeping, preferably in a mid-size headcount (2,000+ FTE) BPO / IT-BPM / Multi-Site environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (complex lookups, pivot tables, formulas); hands-on mastery of Enterprise HRIS/Timekeeping platforms.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth, practical understanding of Philippine Labor Standards, DOLE regulations, mandatory statutory rules, and non-taxable de minimis benefit limits.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical analysis, clear stakeholder communication, and high ethical standards in handling confidential salary data.
