Job Description:
As a Product Data Associate at MaxLite, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing product information across internal systems and customer-facing platforms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for product launches and ongoing operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate model numbers for both purchased and manufactured materials and maintain a regular schedule for master data integrity audits.
- Input and manage Bills of Material (BOMs) in the manufacturing system using manual entry or automated upload methods.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure product data is accurately integrated into promotional materials, websites, catalogs, and customer portals.
- Prepare and submit documentation to compliance agencies and monitor the process through to final approval.
- Support product data entry and upload for e-commerce accounts
- Support Product Management by providing accurate data and handling sample requests for customer meetings and product presentations.
- Coordinate the acquisition of product samples for photography and request in-house lab testing to support product documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain detailed and up-to-date records for new product development initiatives within the ERP system.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of MaxLite products and their applications to support both internal teams and customer inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product data management processes and assist in developing improved procedures, policies, and standards.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, operating independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in product data management, master data maintenance, or a similar data-focused role
- Lighting product or industry knowledge is a strong plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Collaborative team player with a positive, professional attitude

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- This is an on-site position required to work out of our Pine Brook, NJ Headquarters, Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
- Must be able to commute to the work location
- Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, bend, listen, type, read
- Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
