Description
It’s Plein Air Agency is a leading marketing consultancy focusing on the restaurant and hospitality industry providing solutions from Creative, Production, Media Strategy & Buying, Digital Content to Website and Mobile App development. We are a fully remote agency and are looking for remote talent to join our team!
We’re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst who thrives on turning raw data into insights that drive growth. This isn’t just about reporting—you’ll be hands-on with messy data, independently pulling, cleaning, and shaping it into analysis-ready form. That means you’ll need strong SQL, BI and Python skills to dig into large datasets, automate workflows, and build models that guide smarter marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to track campaign performance, customer behavior, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Build and present storyboards and data visualizations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth marketing analytics across acquisition, retention, loyalty, and campaign performance.
- Apply statistical methods and modeling techniques to measure ROI, customer lifetime value, attribution, and incremental impact.
- Partner with Guest Engagement Marketing Manager to translate business questions into data analyses and actionable strategies.
- Roll up your sleeves to perform hands-on data work—pulling, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing datasets.
- Write SQL/Python scripts for advanced analytics, automation, or data manipulation.
- Proactively identify new ways to leverage data for improved targeting, personalization, and campaign optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Computer Science; Master’s degree a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
- Proven experience building and maintaining BI dashboards and data visualizations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying.
- Exposure to cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Excellent understanding of lifecycle marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, retention, churn, attribution, etc.).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to storyboard insights for clear and persuasive communication with stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a hands-on role—self-starter who takes ownership and executes independently.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Experience in A/B testing, predictive modeling, and advanced statistical methods.
- Familiarity with CRM, CDP, or digital marketing platforms.
