Description

*This position requires the candidate be onsite for the first 90 days. After the first 90 days, the position will be hybrid. 

 

Job purpose


Serve as a cross-functional resource on the IT team by performing software validations and change testing, creating clear documentation, assisting with application development and data reporting tasks and projects, and leveraging emerging technologies to improve efficiency and quality in IT and business processes


Key duties and responsibilities

  • Perform software validations in accordance with IMMY processes, including structured testing and thorough documentation, working collaboratively with the Development and Data teams to ensure compliance and quality (˜50% of role).
  • Contribute to application development projects by gathering requirements, assisting with basic coding, testing, bug tracking, and preparing documentation and user training materials.
  • Assist with change management by documenting results, issues, resolutions, and approvals as required.
  • Support data reporting tasks (e.g., Power BI dashboards, datasets) as needed to relieve workload from the Data team.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, intelligent agents) as needed to improve efficiency and accuracy in validation, documentation, reporting, development, and other business workflows.
  • Create and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for systems, processes, workflows, and software changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements and provide technical support or assistance where needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or pursuing degree in an IT or Data related field (MIS, CS, CIS, IS, Statistics, etc.) or at least 1 year professional experience in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team
  • Great Attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Application development, data analysis, or business intelligence reporting experience
  • Technical writing, business analysis, or project management experience
