The Opportunity
We are seeking a Pricing Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting sales initiatives by analyzing customer data to develop profitable pricing strategies while gaining market share. This position is integral to driving revenue growth and operational efficiency, and you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proposal Development: Work directly with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals on medium to large-sized opportunities.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate and strategize with sales to identify key accounts for yield improvement and implement pricing strategies.
- Data Analytics: Analyze customer data and run cost models to identify operational efficiencies and optimal pricing strategies.
- Revenue Monitoring: Measure and monitor the results of pricing decisions on revenue yield.
- Pricing Modeling: Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of changes on organizational performance.
- Communication: Communicate with internal and external customers on pricing-related requests.
- Reporting: Prepare write-ups and presentations for various levels of management.
- Additional Support: Provide other analytical support as necessary
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven 3 years of experience in business, marketing, pricing, or revenue management analytics. Transportation industry experience is preferred.
Compensation
· Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and location.
· Classification: Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, fully remote, at-will position with standard business hours. We offer some flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
· Ability to navigate each department and the company’s facilities as needed.
