Summary: Thermcraft is seeking a skilled General Manager to take the lead in managing profit and loss, driving team building, modernizing operational systems, and overseeing diverse product lines. Essential Functions:

  • Full P&L Responsibility: Oversee and manage the company’s entire profit and loss, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Team Building and Employee Engagement: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Drive initiatives to boost employee morale and productivity.
  • Modernize Systems: Implement cutting-edge technologies and processes to optimize the productivity of all resources. Emphasize continuous improvement in operational efficiencies.
  • Product Line Management: Oversee the manufacturing of diverse product lines and custom-built furnaces, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with senior management to align the company's strategic direction with the broader goals of the parent corporation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent; MBA Preferred
  • Eight to ten years of manufacturing experience, including six years' experience at the management level
  • Experience in a custom manufacturing environment with engineer-to-order expertise
  • Demonstrated technical ability
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team building and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with modernizing operational systems and processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working within a strong corporate structure
