Atlanta Track Club is a nonprofit committed to creating an active and healthy Atlanta. Through running and walking, Atlanta Track Club motivates, inspires and engages the community to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. With more than 30,000 members, Atlanta Track Club is the second largest running organization in the United States. In addition to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race – the largest 10K in the world, the Publix Atlanta Marathon, the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, Atlanta Track Club directs more than 40 events and programs per year. Through the support of its members and volunteers, Atlanta Track Club also maintains a number of community initiatives including organizing and promoting its Kilometer Kids youth running program to metro Atlanta youth, honoring high school cross country and track and field athletes through Atlanta Track Club’s All-Metro Banquets as well as developing an elite group of Olympic level athletes on their athletic journeys.


Position Overview: Reporting to Vice President – Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships, this position will assist in planning and execution of sponsorship activations surrounding the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, Microsoft Peachtree Junior, and other events during the duration of the internship.


Responsibilities:

•Manage sponsor related projects and ancillary corporate events.

•Coordinate all sponsor deliverables ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

•Act as a point of contact for sponsors, donors, and other vips coordinating meetings, site visits, and drafting communication as requested by sponsors and Vice President – Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships

•Support Atlanta Track Club events through pre-event and post-event administrative projects and event day responsibilities related to AJC Peachtree Road Race and other events during the duration of the internship

•Track and analyze media impressions and other engagement metrics. 

•Prepare reports evaluating contracted deliverables for corporate partners.

•Other duties as assigned or requested.

• Excellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving experience.

• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to work Monday – Friday, as well as evenings and weekends for events.


Event Site and Physical Requirements

• Assist on-site setup and break down at Atlanta Track Club events and programs.

• Work with sponsors and other partners to ensure their on-site needs are met

• Provide registration support, answer questions, and ensure smooth experiences for all stakeholders

• Ensure that the event site is properly branded 

• Capture photos and videos of the event for use in social media and marketing materials

•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
