Dweck Properties is seeking a Marketing Coordinator based out of our Washington, DC office. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for brand management and marketing support for our portfolio of 16 multifamily communities across the DMV. 


The Marketing Coordinator’s key responsibilities are to help execute all marketing initiatives and support the Marketing team, on-site leasing teams, and vendors. We’re looking for a candidate with enthusiasm for sales, customer service, and problem-solving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing incoming marketing requests from on-site teams
  • Weekly eBlast design and deployment 
  • Maintaining accuracy and/or updating all digital marketing channels as necessary, including property website, corporate website, ILSs, digital ads as needed to include weekly specials updates, photography, and general site maintenance needs
  • Monitoring lead and lease performance and interest in learning demand-generation strategies, including foundations in reporting and analytics
  • Lead management and delivery quality assurance and troubleshooting
  • CRM support including queue management, email templates, copy, and property settings 
  • Social Media support/storytelling, creating captivating and proficient content including graphics + copy, including completing monthly social media audits
  • Website maintenance and updates as necessary
  • Tabling/attending events with the team as Brand Ambassador for Dweck Properties
  • Provide necessary department, HQ, and site team support as identified by Senior Marketing Manager
  • Basic graphic design for signage, collateral, campaigns, etc.  
  • Working closely with the Learning & Development team to identify training opportunities and develop plans to strengthen leasing skills
  • Manage virtual tour process including uploading videos to YouTube, and providing training to site teams for recording videos
  • Reputation management including managing responses on certain platforms, managing review responsiveness, open reviews, and working with Reputation vendors
Requirements

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in multifamily marketing 
  • Knowledge of the DMV multifamily market, or understanding on how to gain knowledge of DMV multifamily market
  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, CRM, and Site Manager
  • Familiarity with WordPress and other standard website CMS
  • Familiarity with eBlast deployment design/platforms (HyLy knowledge a plus)
  • Basic HTML
  • Proficient knowledge and ability to manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on digital marketing channels (ILSs)
  • Strong design eye and understanding of brand management/consistency/application
  • Due to the occasional local travel in NoVA, DC, and MD, this position recommends that the candidate has reliable access to a vehicle

Required Skills: 

  • People skills! We are an internal service department that supports our on-site teams and colleagues at HQ. This role requires lots of collaboration with team members, including other departments. This candidate should enjoy meeting and working with new people and be comfortable in front of large groups (presentations, trainings, etc.) 
  • Exposure or experience within multifamily leasing and understanding of day-to-day property marketing needs
  • Proficient in graphic design platforms (Canva, Microsoft, and/or Adobe Suite) and analytics platforms (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience in a sales and/or customer service role
  • Comfortable managing sensitive situations with diplomatic and supportive resolve 
  • Aptitude for data and numbers as it relates to portfolio property trends and driving marketing strategy decisions
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (for setup processes, project tracking, and organization)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, dependable team player
  • Adaptable to change and open to challenges

Other Requirements: 

  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing/Communications or additional 2 years of relevant experience
  • 1+ years of experience in B2C sales and/or marketing
