Position Overview:

Are you ready to take your data analysis skills to the next level and make a real difference? At SOLID, we’re looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our dynamic and agile team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for interpreting quantitative data, designing statistical models, and maintaining a database. You will work with a team of experts to develop data-driven solutions that significantly enhance the lives of U.S. Military service members and veterans.

Responsibilities

• Interpret quantitative data to identify trends and patterns.
• Design statistical models to identify relationships/correlations to predict outcomes and inform decision-making.
• Code qualitative data to identify trends
• Maintain and optimize databases for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Develop and implement data analysis plans and data management procedures.
• Conduct complex and detailed quantitative statistical analyses.
• Create dynamic data reports and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, , Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree with a background in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
• At least four (4+) years of experience interpreting quantitative data, designing statistical models, and maintaining a database.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data-oriented programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of relational database principles, protocols, and methodology.
• Excellent critical thinking, observational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to discuss and explain data analysis and statistical modeling concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
