Position Overview

Are you ready to take your data analysis skills to the next level and make a real difference? At SOLID, we’re looking for a passionate Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic and agile team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a set of techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.  

 

You’ll apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, report data findings, and create dynamic data reports. Develop statistical analysis plans and data management procedures using relational database principles, protocols, and methodology. Integrate and analyze data from many sources, including resolving data problems. Conduct complex and detailed quantitative statistical analyses, using statistical analysis software such as SAS, to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of programs and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative statistical analyses using complex analytic methods, including multiple regression, general linear model, correlation, t-test, creating composite variables, and longitudinal analysis.
  • Perform qualitative statistical analysis of large datasets of written comments to identify themes and draw valid conclusions.
  • Develop statistical analysis plans and data management procedures using relational database principles, protocols, and methodology.
  • Integrate and analyze data from many sources, including resolving data problems.
  • Conduct complex and detailed quantitative statistical analyses using statistical analysis software such as SAS.
  • Visualize, interpret, and report data findings, potentially creating dynamic data reports.
  • Utilize data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Related experience and credentials may be considered in lieu of preferred education.
  • At least seven (7+) years of experience in a data analyst role.
  • Expertise in data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS.
  • Strong knowledge of data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
  • Experience with relational database principles, protocols, and methodology.
  • Proven track record of integrating and analyzing data from many sources and resolving data problems.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
