Job Summary

As the VP of Process and Planning at our consumer-driven health account company, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational efficiency and direction of Flores Operations. The primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and implementation of robust processes and procedures to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of our consumer-driven health account and Cobra services. This includes reviewing and updating existing workflows, designing new workflows that optimize the customer experience, streamlining internal operations, and adhering to regulatory requirements. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, establish key performance indicators, and drive continuous process enhancements to maximize productivity and effectiveness. The VP of Process and Planning reports to the COO.

In addition to process optimization, the VP of Process and Planning will be tasked with spearheading initiatives to drive the long-term growth and success of our consumer-driven health account and Cobra business. This involves developing comprehensive business plans to roll out process and system changes. As a key leader within Operations, this role will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the team.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the identification, design, and implementation of process improvements across all aspects of Consumer-Driven Healthcare and Cobra business.
  • Utilize Six Sigma (or similar) methodologies and other best practices to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Compliance, and IT to drive integrated solutions and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of processes and initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead change management efforts related to process improvements and strategic initiatives, ensuring effective adoption and implementation.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruption to clients.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of process improvement specialists and project managers.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and drive professional growth.
  • Serve as the SME for CDH products and COBRA, providing expert guidance and insights to go along with a deep understanding of system processes and capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to CDH and COBRA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Over 10 years of experience supporting CDH products and COBRA services, or similar HR/Benefit services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles or similar methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Change management expertise with a track record of driving organizational change and transformation.
  • An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.

Work Environment

Flores’ standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional remote office environment. To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states —AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NV, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with Flores team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
