We have offered technical service delivery and program support services for a range of diverse federal programs with an  emphasis on national security, public health and safety, and financial services programs.  


We are seeking an experienced, certified Drupal Developer Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the NCUA.gov and MyCreditUnion.gov websites, working with a talented group of  content, design, and development professionals to achieve NCUA's goals and objectives. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements
  • Manages (in coordination with the federal web administrator) search engine implementations for both NCUA.gov and MyCreditUnion.gov.  
  • Leads the development of any web-related project, QA, and debugging 
  • Reviews and assesses business owner requests pertaining to websites templates, navigation, and procedures. 
  • Is familiar with creating automated processes to conduct monthly inspections of the websites to identify bugs, glitches, errors, broken links, mobile responsiveness of all components, and duplicate content. 
  • Demonstrates excellence in ensuring sitewide metadata correctness:  markup (XHTML), schema, metadata, Open Graph metadata, images/graphics, hyperlinks 
  • Demonstrates excellence ensuring CSS. JS, responsively designed DOM element rendering, and internal search are implemented correctly and efficiently, via created automated testing, while maintaining web performance and accessibility standards.   

Requirements 

  • Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 10 (desired) or Drupal 9, Drupal 8 with significant proven senior experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience 
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and contributing to complex web design and development projects, including database development, website and app development, and search engine optimization projects. 
  • Experience managing one or more of Drupal Search, Elasticsearch, SOLR, Search.gov 
  • Strong Drupal CMS debugging and analysis skills.  
  • Experience in PHP, modernizing and securing Drupal 10 websites, modern JS/ECMA, modern HTML/CSS (WHATWG), SQL, CMS module building, PHP frameworks, and JS frameworks.  
  • Experience developing automated testing.  
  • Familiarity with: 
    • FedRAMP cloud security 
    • Multi-language content management 
    • 508/WCAG (WAI-ARIA) requirements.  
  • An active Public GitHub with relevant project work demonstrations.   
  • Plus: AWS operational experience; Drupal Site Builder, Developer, or Front-End Specialist certification.

  • 8-hour shift during core business hours of 7:30 am – 5:30 pm EST
