Description

   

The Project Coordinator will serve a vital role in streamlining production and program management. Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Production Managers and Purchasing to ensure projects remain on time and on budget. We are looking to hire an experienced Project Coordinator with a background in manufacturing or production. 


· Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location

· Organization, labeling and parts location/storage

· Maintaining BOMs (Parts lists)

· Cost effective parts sourcing and making parts requisitions more streamlined

· Assist PMs and Production Managers in maintaining deadlines and budgets

· Assist with organization and maintaining workflow

· Participate in production meetings to keep all departments aligned on goals

· Organization and the ability to manage numerous tasks throughout the workday is essential

· Coordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery as required

· Work with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurate

· Communicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership weekly

· Assist production leadership and project teams with action item updates as required

· Support purchase requisition creation for scheduled contract work as required

· Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process

· Oversee production status and notify the production team to ensure scheduled goals are met

Requirements

  

· 1-2 years of experience supporting administrative processes, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting

· Knowledge/background of automotive/aviation/fabrication terms is a plus.

· Prior experience working as a production coordinator in the industry preferred

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Project Professional, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs

· Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
