Description
MSP Consulting (30%)
- Perform pre-sales engineering; assessing customer needs to determine the best fit of services to provide and their value to the customer
- Coordinate and drive customer onboarding; both through delegation and follow up, and through performing onboarding tasks
- Create and maintain customer roadmap documentation that includes compliance with Intermax MSP best practices and customer technology needs, as well as establishing a timeline of major improvements for the customer environment
MSP Subject Matter Expert (40%)
- Respond to customer issue escalations, providing guidance and direction to staff for resolution or working directly with the customer to resolve the issue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs while adhering to industry best practices
- Design, deploy, administer, monitor, and enhance foundational Enterprise systems, including technologies such as Active Directory, Azure AD (incl. Azure AD Connect), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file & print services, Microsoft 365
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain a high level of user satisfaction
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems, including architectural diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency, security, and reliability of employee-facing systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Projects (30%)
- Scope and deliver client and internal projects and initiatives
- Timely execution of project tasks, activities, and status reporting
- Perform and delegate responsibilities to design, implement, and maintain client and internal projects

Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in System Engineering
- Previous MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience a strong plus
- Windows Server and Microsoft 365 Administration (Mandatory)
- VMware, Solarwinds RMM, Cove (N-able) Backup/Recovery, Azure AD, collaboration tools
- Experience managing server and cloud infrastructure in an Azure environment a plus
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and basic network routing protocols a plus
- Proficient knowledge of user access control, patching and networking stacks
- Certifications (WatchGuard, Microsoft Administration/M365/Azure, VMware or any security-based) are a strong plus
- Experience working with storage arrays (HP or Dell) a plus
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting a strong plus
- SolarWinds RMM experience a strong plus
- Must have strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- Must have solid troubleshooting skills
